Day 5

Day 5 (A little late because I was lazy…better late than never)

·         10 a.m.

o   Jordan and I get up put on swim trunks and grab a towel

·         10:15-11:15 a.m.

o   Hour bus ride to the beach

·         11:15-3:00 p.m.

o   Fun at the beach

§  Weather was not good, scattered rain

§  Played beach volley ball for awhile

§  Swam in the Mediterranean (It was warmer in the water than it was on land)

§  Ate at a seafood buffet

·         Lots of good seafood, only recognized the calamari. There was some kind of white fish that was really good fried.

§  Played 20 questions with some friends for a bit since the weather was not great.

·         3:00-4:00 p.m.

o   Bus back to John Felice

·         4:00-6:15 p.m.

o   Checked email and Ogame. Jordan watched an episode of Grimm while I looked up some video game information.

·         6:15-7 p.m.

o   Ate dinner in the Mensa

§  Pasta and Veggies (Same old same old.. very good still though!)

·         7-8 p.m.

o   Showed our friend Thomas how to get to the neighborhood grocery store.

·         8-9 p.m.

o   Relaxed a bit

·         9-10:15

o   Went to mass in the school chapel. Small service. Very nice.

·         10:15-3 a.m.

o   Checked email, taught some people how to play Munchkins, played Drug Dealer (the card game), and some pictionary

·         3 a.m.

o   Bed.

·         (While playing 20 questions on the Bus and trying to guess a movie, all Jordan and I knew was that the movie began with a “G” on the final question) :

Ben: “Jordan, we are not going to get it with a guess”  Jordan: “Is it Gatticon?” Opponents: “Nope. It’s called ‘Gattica’.”

Is Jordan Unusually Lucky?

·         Background: For lunch and dinner, you have to randomly draw a number card and put it in the basket at the beginning of the lunch line. We have no idea why, but it is required in order to secure food. Every day, Jordan and I compare draws, and whoever has the high number wins. Every Sunday, we will update the win records. For this week:

Jordan 3-3 (Won three, lost three)

Ben 3-3

·         So far, Jordan is bound to statistics like everyone else.
